Mechanical and Electrical field technician (Le cheylard, France)
To strengthen our Technicians team, we recruit a Mechanical and Electrical field technician. Incorporated to the after sales service department, your missions are directed around different fields of responsibility below:
Mechanical and Electrical activities
- Specific technical operations on PERRIER equipment at the customer’s site
- The Field Service Technician is responsible for the installation/commissioning /start-up and the maintenance of PERRIER equipment at our customers’ locations.
- You will train customers’ Operators, Technicians and Engineers how to properly operate, set-up, change over and maintain the equipment.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to) the following:
- Troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of PERRIER equipment; including mechanical, pneumatic and electrical systems, and programming changes as required
- Perform machine audits, overhauls and rebuilds
- Install and adjust new change parts for conversions on existing machines
- Help customers determine proper spare parts needed to support their equipment
Job requirements
- Minimum of six years experience as a Field Service Technician working with high-speed packaging machinery performing the above mentioned responsibilities
- Must have experience in programming Allen Bradley PLCs
- Knowledge of Siemens PLC is a plus
- Ability to read and understand mechanical, pneumatic and electrical drawings/schematics is required
- Must be able to work independently while also being an integral part of our team
- Willing to travel approximately 50% of the time
- Bilingual English/French is an advantage

Industrial Mechanical project Engineer (Le cheylard, France)
To strengthen the development of our Design engineering department, we recruit an Industrial Mechanical project Engineer.
Your technical skills will enable you to contribute to the general performance and efficiency of the department and widely of our company.
The job is located in France, Le Cheylard.
Missions
- You are in charge to study the technical achievability of the project in collaboration with the sales and preliminary design departments.
- You work out technical solutions according to the customers ‘requirements specifications
- You are responsible for the design developments and the manufacturing executive files
- You elaborate the detailed planning and coordinate the project with the manufacturing and assembling departments.
- You follow the project up to the final site acceptance report (SAT) at the customer’s’ plant
- You coordinate a 2 to 4 design drawing technicians and are at disposal for travel at the customers’ plant in France and abroad.
Job requirements
Mechanical Engineer is a first requirement with handling of Computer graphics aided three-dimensional interactive application. (CAD System)
- You can achieve systems and functional analysis as well as hazard analysis
- Participative management capacities are necessary to perform in the job
- Willing to travel
- Bilingual English/French is requested
